Ladurée is a thing of the past. French pâtissier Pierre Hermé offers scrumptious, perfect French macarons in his boutiques, of which there are 15 in Paris. Classic flavors, like caramel, orange blossom and pistachio, and unexpected combinations, like olive oil and mandarin, rose and bergamot, and chocolate and passion fruit, number equally. His signature, the Ispahan, mixes rose, litchi and raspberry. He's constantly creating new flavors for the seasons, so you'll never be bored going back again and again. Some of his boutiques also sell chocolates and pastries. One macaron will set you back less than 2.50€. A box of seven costs 19.90€.
Open Sunday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
