As La Compagnie operates international flights, you must have a valid passport in your possession at the time of your flight. All passengers must verify entry and residence requirements with the embassy or consulate of their destination country, or via the travel doc website, before their flight. This includes checking if you need a travel visa or other documents.
You are responsible for ensuring your passport is valid and renewing it if necessary. On the day of departure, La Compagnie reserves the right to deny boarding if your documents do not meet the destination country's requirements. If issues arise upon arrival, you will be liable for any charges imposed on La Compagnie by the destination country.

Passengers must complete the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) prior to entering United States territory. Complete your ESTA application no later than 72 hours before you travel with us. You may apply for your ESTA authorization online at : ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization)

Children traveling alone or with their parents must have a valid passport under the name of the accompanying person.

Carried-on or checked-in your luggage will fly safely
When traveling with La Compagnie, 2 checked bags are included in all fares. The maximum dimensions for checked baggage are as follows:
- Maximum weight per bag: 70 lb / 32 kg
- Total dimensions per bag: 62 in / 158 cm (Height + Length + Width)
If your baggage exceeds the total dimensions allowed or you wish to add an additional bag, an extra fee (per bag) will apply :
- €200 for flights departing from Europe to the United States
- $200 for flights departing from the United States to Europe
Please note that bags exceeding 118 in /300 cm in total dimensions (Height + Length + Width) will not be accepted at check-in.
In addition to your checked baggage, La Compagnie allows you to carry the following sports equipment for free (1 item per category) :
- Skis : Maximum weight of 32 kg
- Surfboards, windsurf board or kiteboard : Not exceeding 2.50 m/1m and not exceeding 20 kg.
- Golf bags with clubs : Maximum weight of 15 kg.
- Bikes : 75 x 37,5 x 25,5
- Hockey bag (up to 5 sticks)
- (*) One registered item per person
Note: Electric bikes, scooters, and sports equipment are not accepted onboard La Compagnie flights.
Onboard, you are allowed 1 carry-on bag, max 21.6 x 13.7 x 9.8 in (55 x 35 x 25 cm).
You may also bring one accessory, such as a handbag, briefcase, laptop case, or camera bag.
The total maximum weight of all your carry-on baggage must not exceed 39 lb /18 kg.
The transport of liquids onboard is strictly limited to the following guidelines :
Liquids cannot exceed a volume of 3.3 fl oz (100 ml) per container. They must be placed in a clear plastic bag and presented at the security check.
For safety reasons, the following items are strictly prohibited onboard our aircraft :
- Knives and sharp objects, firearms, and all ammunition
- Printer ink cartridges
- Liquids and all aerosols over 3.3 fl oz (100 ml)
- Gasoline, gas, solvents, acetone and all flammable products
- Fireworks, toxic or radioactive materials
- Insecticides, pesticides, etc.
In addition, these items are prohibited in checked baggage :
- Spare lithium batteries
- Large electronic devices (laptops, tablets) and electronic cigarettes; however, these can be transported in your carry-on baggage

If you encounter a problem with your baggage, please follow these steps:
- Report the issue immediately to airport staff on site. They will have you fill out a Property Irregularity Report (PIR).
- Contact La Compagnie's Customer Care at customercare@lacompagnie.com, providing the following information: the PIR, your boarding passes and, in case of damaged baggage, photos of the damage and the baggage purchase receipt.
- For missing bags, La Compagnie covers essential items (clothing, underwear and hygiene products). To request a reimbursement, please attach receipts to your request.
We will do our utmost to quickly resolve any irregularities and ensure your satisfaction.
Online or at the airport between 2h30 and 50 minutes before departure, the check-in is easy and efficient
Online check-in opens 24 hours before departure and closes 2 hours before flight departure.
Some passengers (minors, persons selected by the authorities, etc…) cannot check in online. If you are not eligible for online check-in, please arrive early to check in at the airport.
Check-in opens 2 hours 30 minutes before the flight and closes 50 minutes prior to departure.
