Assistance

You can request personal assistance at the airport or onboard our aircraft. We thank you in advance for informing us of your request at the time of booking in the “My bookings” section or by calling our team at +33 (0) 892 230 240 before your departure, so we can provide you with the best possible assistance.

You also have the option of traveling with your respiratory assistance device in the cabin, subject to certain criteria. For detailed information on these criteria and to ensure a hassle-free travel experience, please contact us by email at contact@lacompagnie.com or by phone.

Special meals at La Compagnie

You can order a special meal when traveling with La Compagnie. Simply make your request when booking or no later than 51 hours before your flight in the "Manage my booking" section, or by contacting our customer team.

You can then choose from the following options:

Sports equipment

We love sports! Whether you surf, ski, ride a bike or golf, La Compagnie invites you to travel with your sports equipment* at no extra charge**.

Passengers must make sure their equipment does not exceed the maximum allowance. La Compagnie reserves the right to refuse equipment.

*Golf bags, bike, surfboard, skis**No extra charge for 1 piece of sports equipment per passenger

For specific equipment:

Surfboard : Dimensions not exceeding 2.50m /1m, with a maximum weight of 20 kg.

Golf bag : Maximum weight of 15 kg.

Ski equipment : Maximum weight of 32 kg.

Bicycle: The tires must be deflated, the front wheel removed, and the bicycle should be placed in a cover. The maximum dimensions are: 75 x 37.5 x 25.5 in.

Pets in cabin

At La Compagnie, we are committed to welcoming your companions—up to 8kg including the carrier (dogs, cats, and dwarf rabbits)—in the best possible conditions, while ensuring full comfort for all passengers.

Only cabin transport is permitted; animals cannot be transported in the hold.

TRAVELING WITH YOUR PET IN CABIN
  • To ensure the comfort of all passengers on board, only four pets are allowed per flight. We therefore recommend submitting your request as early as possible. A confirmation will be sent based on availability.
  • The pet reservation must be made no later than 48 hours before departure, either at the time of booking via your “My Reservations” space or by contacting our customer service.
  • The applicable fee is €200 per journey (i.e. €400 / $500 for a round trip).
  • You must complete and present a sworn declaration for the transport of dogs, cats, and dwarf rabbits in the cabin (PETC) at check-in.
  • Your pet travels under your responsibility and must remain in its closed carrier: you will be asked to declare its presence at check-in and to the Cabin Manager during boarding.
  • Therapy and emotional support animals travel as pets and not as assistance animals.
  • La Compagnie reserves the right to deny boarding if the animal does not meet regulatory and safety requirements, or in cases where the safety, health, and well-being of passengers or property cannot be ensured, including inappropriate behavior (aggressiveness, howling) or poor hygiene.
  • La Compagnie reserves the right to hold you financially responsible for any damage your pet may incur.

Travel in the cabin: Small dogs, cats

To ensure your pet travels safety and comfortably, please verify or confirm that the following requirements are met:

  • Each passenger may travel with only one pet.
  • Your pet must be at least 6 months old, have a combined weight of less than 17.6 lb/8kg with its carrier, and have up-to-date vaccinations.
  • You are responsible for your pet’s travel documents and must present them at the check-incounter. Required documents include (The European passport, vaccination record, and all required entry / exit documents of required by the destination country. )
  • You must follow crew instructions at all times during the flight.
  • Your pet must travel in a carrier (see details below) and, for safety reasons, must remain inside it for the entire duration of the flight. Cabin crew will ensure compliance with this rule on board.

As of August 1, 2024,please note the new CDC regulations regarding the import of dogs into theUnited States, applicable to both pets and service dogs:

  • Minimum age: 6 months.
  • Dogs must NOT have stayed in a high-risk country (see list of high-risk countries) within the last 6 months.
  • A CDC Dog Import Form must be completed for both pets and service dogs.
  • All required official documents must be written in English.
  • Your pet must remain seated in front of your assigned seat. Occupying an emergency exit row or the aisle is not permitted.

Travel in the cabin: Dwarf rabbits

La Compagnie also allows dwarf rabbits in the cabin.
To ensure your animal travels safely and comfortably, please follow theserequirements:

  • One rabbit per passenger.
  • Minimum age: 2 months.
  • Your rabbit must travel in a rigid carrier where it cannot reach the top opening, even when standing. The carrier must not exceed 22 x 14 x 10 in/56 x 45 x 20 cm (total 45 in/115 cm.
  • Please note that some countries prohibit the entry of rodents (NB: rabbits are lagomorphs,which might cause confusion when checking country restrictions). It is essential that you check your destination country's requirements before departure.

The carrier

  • Your pet must travel in a ventilated carrier (22 x 14 x 10 in /55 x 35 x 25 cm) placed on the floor in front of you.
  • Your pet carrier is considered a cabin baggage item. You may also bring one additional accessory such as a handbag, briefcase, or laptop sleeve. All other baggage must be checked into the hold (your ticket includes 2 checked bags with a maximum weight of 75.5lb / 32kg each).

Comfort on board

  • For safety reasons, certain seats cannot be allocated to passengers traveling with a pet (emergency exits and aisle seats in particular).
  • With your pet placed in front of your seat, you will not be able to fully recline your seat to the bed position.
  • Pets must remain inside their carrier for the entire duration of the flight and cannot occupy a seat.

Documents to present at check-in

Before your departure, please ensure you have the following documents:

  • Animal passport
  • Veterinary health certificate (less than 10 days old).
  • Up-to-date vaccination certificate, including rabies.
  • Microchip identification of the dog or cat.
  • For connecting flights: an international health certificate in English.

Regulations varydepending on your destination:

  • European Union: European passport and electronic identification required.
  • United States: No stay in a rabies-risk country in the last 6 months, and CDC form required.
  • Other countries: We recommend checking with the embassy or local health authorities.

Lounge access with pets

Access to airport loungeswith pets is subject to local laws and regulations, as well as lounge policies.
Access is generally permitted provided pets remain in their carrier.
Please check with airports for available pet relief areas.

Further information

Transport conditions are subject to change depending on current health regulations. If the limit of four animals is reached on your flight, you will not be able to make areservation.

TRAINED SERVICE DOGS IN THE CABIN

In accordance with the final rule of the United States Department of Transportation (DOT), La Compagnie no longer recognizes emotional support animals as service animals as of July 14, 2021. Emotional support animals may travel as pets in the cabin if they meet the conditions outlined above.

La Compagnie only accepts trained service dogs (that assist persons with a disabilities) free of charge. Service dogs in training travel as pets.

What is the difference between a pet and a service dog at La Compagnie?

  • A pet (PETC) may be a cat, a dog, or a dwarf rabbit weighing less than 8 kg, including the carrier. To travel with La Compagnie, the owner must pay €200 / $250 per flight and comply with the transport conditions, sales conditions, and restrictions indicated on our website regarding pets. You may refer to the section on pets in the cabin above.
  • A service dog has been individually trained to perform tasks for the benefit of a person with a disability, including visual, sensory, psychiatric, or intellectual disabilities, or another mental impairment. Service dogs travel free of charge in the cabin and may board without a cage or carrier. Service dog documents will be verified at the check-in counter on the day of departure.

When traveling with a trained service dog, you must comply with the following requirements:

  • Each passenger may travel with up to two trained service dogs.
  • You must notify our Customer Service at least 48 hours prior to departure of your service dog's presence in the cabin.
  • Provide the necessary documents for your service dog travel (including any required import forms for your destination).
  • Your service dog must be well-trained, display impeccable behavior under all circumstances, not occupy a seat, and not obstruct emergency exits.
  • La Compagnie reserves the right to hold you financially responsible for any damage incurred by your service dog.

As of August 1, 2024, please note the new CDC regulations that apply to all dogs entering the United States:

  • Minimum age: 6 months.
  • Dogs must NOT have stayed in a high-risk country (see list) within the past 6 months.
  • A CDC Dog Import Form must be completed for both pets and service dogs.
  • All official and required documents must be written in English.

La Compagnie will deny boarding to any passenger traveling with a trained service dog that does not meet the above requirements.

Please also note that due to our cabin configuration, if you are traveling with an animal, you will not be able to fully recline your seat.

Trained service dogs are permitted in airport lounges.

Unaccompanied minors

La Compagnie takes care of your children (from age 5 to 12 years old) throughout their travel experience. We ensure your little ones enjoy their flight in safety and comfort from departure until the moment their chosen relative picks them up at arrival.

TRAVEL EXPERIENCE

Your child will enjoy a personal escort at both airports as well as priority boarding.

During the flight, your child can take advantage of our entertainment offer, available on personal touchscreen tablets, as well as exceptional business class comfort including a quality seasonal meal under the caring supervision of our hostesses and stewards.

A special meal adapted to young children is available for order. We invite you to make the request to our team member when booking the unaccompanied minor's flight.

BOOKING, CHECK-IN AND LUGGAGE

You can book an unaccompanied minor ticket by contacting us directly. To save time, La Compagnie suggests you prepare the following information:

  • Name, address and phone number of the individual bringing the child to the departure airport
  • Name, address and phone number of the individual picking the child up at the arrival airport

Please be aware that the check-in process must be completed at the check-in desk at least 50 minutes prior to departure.

Once the booking is complete, we will provide you with all the necessary information concerning the time and place where our staff will welcome your child. Our staff will then escort your child to the aircraft.

Please remember to check-in any luggage your child would not be able to carry by himself in the cabin.
