In addition to its café’s coffee drinks with adorable foam art, Maison Kitsuné now has a location with another Instagrammable drink: cocktails.

The French-Japanese brand opened its first café-bar-restaurant, Café Kitsuné Louvre, near the Palais-Royale on September 23. Breakfast options, lunch, dinner, cocktails and hot drinks are served each day at the new restaurant. It’s first café, Café Kitsuné Palais-Royal, has been serving hot drinks with foam art and small treats in the central Paris garden for the past five years.

Spread over two levels, the space was designed to be adaptable. Besides the restaurant seating, the first floor, with big windows allowing for lots of natural lighting, hosts a café. The second floor boasts a sexy bar, with velvet seating, big mirrors and a zinc countertop. The space’s modern and minimalist decor should be attributed to French architecture and design firm Ciguë. Everything is supremely Instagrammable.

The menu at Café Kitsuné Louvre, conceived by chef Yuji Tani and created by chef Chihiro Yamazaki, is a “modernist reinterpretation of the classic Parisian bistro,” according to Maison Kitsuné. French bistro classics and American diner dishes are recreated with a Japanese flair. You’ll find house-made granola and yogurt, Japanese pancakes with eggs Benedict, Asian-inspired croque-monsieur, a beef teriyaki tartare and gourmet patisseries, like seasonal mochi. Alexis Taoufiq, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France mixologist, is the mastermind behind the cocktails, crafted with a selection of home-made ingredients, available starting at 6 p.m. nightly.

Exclusively available at this location, a Maison Kitsuné collection of tableware and accessories are for sale on the first floor. There’s also a small épicerie selling coffee beans, their home-made granola, and some other Made in France products.
